Was listening to a show the other day talking negatively about G5 schools because they "don't play the quality teams that P5 schools play " in reference to being held out of a playoff spot. 

 

I really can't stand this separation of college football. (until we make it into P5, that is lol)

I will be fine as long as UCF does not go to the Big 12...  If that happens and we are stuck in a depleted AAC, I may not be able to show up to work.  It will be a trial like no other.

I go to watch USF kick some tail and tailgate. Considering the amount of alumni we've pumped into Tampa Bay, our donor and season ticket holder base numbers are really, really paltry. We need many more of those, no matter who we play.

I agree with you, but it's hard to get excited over the Tulsas of the world for the average fan...how many Tulsa fans do you run into on a daily basis to make that game interesting?

CUSA is coming back to kill us.  Imagine if any four of the top candidates leave the AAC.  It's not so much about not getting in, it is about who will be left.  Further, if UCF does make it in, we will backfill with FIU or FAU.  This would actually be worse than the old CUSA days.

If we don't get in who can you really blame? It could be that they just did not want to into Florida and there was nothing we could do except move the gulf closer.

Of we don't get in it will slow our academic growth and recognition. Will impact applicant pool and perception.
