Woke up this morning to see this splashed all over the front page of the sports section in the TBT,.  Knights article and Fennelys article.  We don't get this much coverage during football season.

This is all so sickening....

Let me start by saying I have no idea what the charges are, but if it is even remotely along the lines of what you're saying, it is a VERY big deal. What that means for punishment, I can't say. But this is far from some trivial mixup. If Oliver Antigua is quitting and it has something to do with a player's transcript, you're talking about an assistant coach actively inserting himself into the academic application process and a) forging a transcript directly to fake the quality of classes, grades, etc. 2) advising a prospective student on how to forge a transcript or d) doing something else not so kosher behind the scenes in the step by step process of a student applying to enroll at USF. There is no scenario where a coach or assistant coach should have his hands on the actual academic enrollment process. It very well may not be a deal breaker and I'm aware of other schools doing worse things, but this is a **** show.

So I know everyone is up in arms right now, but how has no one else given J props for his Buzz from Home Alone A, Two, D reference?!

Kudos to you sir!

GREAT pickup, Nova.  And nice job to JTrue, although his sarcasm has lost its subtle sneakiness due to its proliferation, this was a job well done, sir.

1.  We on this board don't know much of anything.

2.  If USF has known for a while, they have a handle on it.

3.  FSU scandal was huge, and it's in the rear view mirror.

4.  I'd wager money that at least one person in the Big 12 was briefed on the situation before the news broke.

JK on WDAE this morning reported that "more hammers will drop".  He said he would not be surprised if COA was fired later today.

Stay tuned...

Former women's basketball coach Jerry Ann Winters was a bad hire.

If the men's team was winning would this be a reason to fire him?

Especially academic fraud.  At a university.  It's unacceptable.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
