All speculation, but with an assistant, and brother of head coach quitting and USF not denying (which NCAA programs commonly do) there is smoke.

it could just be minimal for all we know.

Regardless, couldn't have come at a worse time

We suck at cheating. Especially basketball cheating.

Problem is, it's hard to know who's really good at it since they don't get caught--and those guys would exceed our budget.

I keep hoping the sources don't end up being Perry and Peters. Regardless, it looks like they're doing a good job of keeping the info tight. Better to get the full information after the investigation, I hate bits & pieces.

I would not doubt that they were somehow involved. Who knows in what capacity.

Just think it's a bad sign that popular opinion outside of Tampa is so negative.

I'm just ecstatic that there's an opinion, whether in or out of Tampa. We're big timing it, y'all! :FIREdevil:

Our record with the NCAA has been pretty clean, so I would think that if we self-reported the damage should be minimized.   Hopefully, the B12 will note that, as well.

Steve Deuming was just on Tampa 95.3 FM and said someone in USF told him that this is just the tip of the Iceberg and that's why there isn't any call by the Admin to join the Big 12. He said be prepared for something really bad to come out at USF.

This guy is a major Clown. I wish the Admin would say something just to stop these wild accusation. The rampant speculation is creating more negative publicity then will come from any findings.

Yeah, but at the same time we don't want to keep adding on findings. Just go do the investigation and make one fell swoop, bad as it might be. Seriously, just take the time to be thorough, and USF has a history of doing that (unlike the Orlando school). I'm sure it's gonna suck when complete.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
