I keep hoping the sources don't end up being Perry and Peters. Regardless, it looks like they're doing a good job of keeping the info tight. Better to get the full information after the investigation, I hate bits & pieces.

Someone I follow mentioned something to Chris Perry about it being a good idea to delete a tweet that I'm assuming was posted after the news broke. Not sure of the content of the tweet though as I didn't actually see it

They were talking about the USF scandal on Charleston, S.C. local sports talk radio today. Talked about how Antigua was a Calipari assistant and how we were stupid for hiring somebody from his camp because of how crooked he is. Also basically said that this cemented our fate at getting left behind in this round of expansion. Nice to hear an outside opinion on the matter.

Actually I find nothing nice about that opinion whatsoever--would rather he had remained silent on it. :(

My point was, could you name someone who would be willing and has the name and rep to help.

Maybe we can talk Billy Donovan to come here if he decides he wants out of OKC after KD left...

This just means we're big time now, right?

Question: What respectable coach would be willing to jump into this mess. Could it be a big enough name to help seal the deal with the Big 12. If so, whom?

Larry Brown

I appreciate their interest but I'm not sure many things carry less weight than an opinion about Big 12 expansion from Charleston SC sports talk radio ... Deumig, obviously, but not many more.

Just think it's a bad sign that popular opinion outside of Tampa is so negative.
