Being in the Memphis game with that stubborn offense gives me hope. Unfortunately 'cuse is going to pressure so we better have some options/screens ready. Please?

I have no problem with being a run first team, but at least mix it up a bit and throw in some more read option.  Maybe some option runs maybe some toss sweeps. At least try to get the RBs some space.  We are not going to over power many teams at the line.

Generally agreed, although QF's reads on the read option have been inconsistent.

To your overall point, when we had success moving the ball they showed a lot of the sweep look including a couple "passes".  After the Pope penalty (what a huge momentum killer) we stopped showing any lateral threat. An effective offense has to attack vertically or horizontally, preferably both, but for the better part of the game we were within the hashes and within 10 yards of the LOS.

I think it's pretty ballsy to say you're not changing something that's not working, and that you're not second-guessing yourself after winning 7 games out of your last 28.  

I'll go with brains.
