@TBTimes_Bulls: Another story linking Joe Kinnan to #USF http://t.co/s4Ju12yuRP

More on Kinnan to USF. Guy has quite a background...

From what I've gathered from other sites and that read that he's in line to become the OC advisor/specialist but not the OC.

Become the what?

Dream pairing would be Calvin Magee and randy shannon.

Can't find the other spot were I read that he would not become the OC.

But I did read this interesting piece.....

"....What adds some juice to the idea of a Taggart-Kinnan reunion is that Taggart offered him a job in 2013. “At considerably more money than I was making at Manatee High School,†Kinnan said at the time."

Sounds like based on this Kinnan would come in as a "specialist" and Taggart would be the OC but Kinnan would have authority to call the plays. Is this so they don't have to pay him an OC salary?

Maybe they'll save the couple $100k for a homerun DC hire.

They should get a QB specialist too with the extra dough. Like a consultant type to 1 on 1 with the QBs.

Has anyone noticed how poor San Francisco's offense is,when I watch them play it reminds me of watching USF they are totally inept. it's why they are seven and six and out of the playoffs.

That offence will not work in college and it's good that he's changing to the spread . However he needs to get a top-flight coordinator to try to bring stability or at least the appearance of stability to the program for recruiting purposes. Unfortunately I don't believe this is possible. I hope I'm wrong but time will tell.

The most likely Senario is When CWT met with Harlen he presented this plan which bought him one more year,as I believe Harlen really likes Taggart and wants him to succeed. He sees him as a great recruiter and embasador for the university.

It would make no sense otherwise. Harlen seems to be a no Bull kind of guy who wants to build a resume for bigger and better things. If he was going impose his will on the changes and undermind Taggart he would have fired Him and hired his guy.

IMO this team had as much or more talent than everyone on their schedule with exception of Wisconsin and there is a ton of quality athletes still left. So I feel with right schemes and coaching this team could turn it around quickly.
