IF, true, then Harlan is managing CWT out. Cheaper if he leaves that way

I honestly think this is what's really happening.

As stubborn as everyone says he is do you really think he will quit?

Makes things more interesting...and kind of awkward?

@joshnewberg247: I'm being told that if things don't get turned around at USF next season, look for one of these hires at OC or DC to possibly get that job.

So the AD is going to dictate a coordinator to CWT who, should the season implode, would become the new head coach?  If the season implodes why would you want anyone with that failure? Also, seems like a conflict of interest for the coordinator.

Welcome to "As USF football turns..."

Exactly.  If the season implodes, imo, everyone is tainted.  Move in a completely new direction.  Plus, I can't imagine a coordinator forced onto a head coach is good for anyone.

Everybody has a breaking point and if Harlan is making these hires and it's true that the next OC or Dc could be a coach in waiting it's possible he pulls the rip cord and follows Harbaugh to his next gig.

After typing that, I agree he's too stubborn to leave on his own....

So now Travaris Robinson is swirling as candidate who has no DC experience???  I see we are swinging.  Maybe we catch lightning and get lucky. If we have learned anything is just because someone coached under someone doesnt make them equivalent. Ala Taggart - Harbaugh, Ala Skip Holtz-Lou Holtz.

:FIREdevil:

How many threads have you posted this exact reply (minus the hellfire smiley) on?
