Joey Knight â€@TBTimes_Bulls

I'm hearing a lot of buzz that 2 SEC coaches (current ones) may be interested in #USF hoops job.

If we are talking head coaches and I had to guess, I'll say Andy Kennedy and Anthony Grant. The main reasons are they know another season of failing to make the NCAAT, they will be fired. LOL, looking at some school to come save their asses, and I hope that USF doesn't save either one of them from their future fate of being fired. Kennedy and Grant need to take their firings like a man and not try to escape it and hide out at USF. Don't run from your mess guys, try to fix it.

Josh Appel â€@JoshAppel 31m

@TBTimes_Bulls Billy Donavan and John Calipari?

Joey Knight â€@TBTimes_Bulls 30m

.@JoshAppel Bingo! Donovan & Calipari. Nailed it on 1st try

LOL.. I wish.

But based on some of the BullPenners.. anyone else would be a bust.

I was gonna go there, but I'd also throw Pat Riley's name out there since Billy and John are so unrealistic.

Grant will be the new coach. Again, you're not listening.

Really?

Didn't Heath beat him?

I'm not feeling it...

Grant is a Florida guy with great ties to the state.  He's been a winner in both his head jobs and is a quality person on and off the court.  Young and aggressive, he's a perfect fit.  He's getting lots of consideration as he should.

I'll be disappointed if the best USF can do is save Grant from his future firing. Attendance is down 3.6% at Alabama which is what USF doesn't need. Grant will not excite a fan base, he will not excite the recruits or the current players, he's just damage goods right now. His shining star has faded and if he's to shine again it needs to be him defeating the Hot Seat and winning at Bama for a few seasons, not be allowed to escape to Tampa.

OMG what a bad hiring that could potentially be

Heath beat a lot of guys including future HOF's and current HOF coaches.

That being said I am not a fan of Grant, but he joins some good company in men that have been beat by Stan Heath.
