When you are down by 2 scores under 10 minutes you need to show some sense of urgency. It took almost 90 seconds to run a play, call the play, line up and then snap the next one.

thats our new 1337 offense! take a decade to snap the ball! No urgency, no up tempo, no quick plays to catch the defense slipping. This **** offense is worse than anything Holtz ever put on the field.
It is worse than anything Holtz had offensively. Of course Holtz inherited BJ Daniels at QB. CWT got bupkus.

While this is true, Taggart hasn't helped out the QB's one iota by running plays to get them confidence. Not a single play to get some tempo or urgency. Just the same exact **** over and over and over which leads to another incompletion and 3 n out.

I want Bench to be our Savior as much as anyone, but realistically it doesn't look like he's got it any more than Eveld or Floyd.

You judged that in one series? That got wrecked by a false start at that

So far as disappointment goes, I can't determine who bothers me more: Giddens or Davis.

Probably Davis because his DGAF is so much more obvious.

That's why I'm giving CWT a pass most of this year. Holtz was fortunate enough to have BJ

Are coaches just not seeing the lack of solid effort from Davis?  Or the poor skills of Welch?  Were swapping out QB's, what about WRs?

A good run game would help out the QB. We don't have one of those. The OL is weak and generates no push. The TE aren't strong at blocking. The RB position is basically just shaw. Where do you go to help the QB?

When you lose 2 WR's over the off season, you're not going to be very deep.
