Or the poor skills of Welch? Were swapping out QB's, what about WRs? When you lose 2 WR's over the off season, you're not going to be very deep. Plus the fact that the former coach couldn't recruit any decent players.

We've been keeping things close to the vest so we don't tip FAU off. That's the only game we might win this year.

If I was a WR and saw this offense in the Spring, I'd have hauled ass too.

It took almost 90 seconds to run a play, call the play, line up and then snap the next one.thats our new 1337 offense! take a decade to snap the ball! No urgency, no up tempo, no quick plays to catch the defense slipping. This **** offense is worse than anything Holtz ever put on the field. It is worse than anything Holtz had offensively. Of course Holtz inherited BJ Daniels at QB. CWT got bupkus. While this is true, Taggart hasn't helped out the QB's one iota by running plays to get them confidence. Not a single play to get some tempo or urgency. Just the same exact **** over and over and over which leads to another incompletion and 3 n out.A good run game would help out the QB. We don't have one of those. The OL is weak and generates no push. The TE aren't strong at blocking. The RB position is basically just shaw. Where do you go to help the QB? When the OL is getting run over, let the DL come and drop a screen to a RB. How about lining the QB in shotgun and a quick slant or curl? How about rolling the pocket a little with a couple of short pass options to the flat an out or a drag to the TE? How about QB in shotgun and a quick pass to the WR just to spread the field a little. If the DB is in press coverage how about a quick hitch and go. Most of the time Eveld was dropping 5 or 7 steps then he either slipped (even our equipment manager sucks) or took forever to wind up and throw. He is horrible. Sorry, I have never heard of a D1 QB go 25% with one pass being a 2 inch touch pass completion.

This guy does not like losing and he is a straight talker. I like that
