Oh, the Oracle at Scout named him "National Recruiter of the Year". Woooooooo. Maybe coaching at one of the most prestigious Universities in the Country might have had something to do with his recruiting skills. Any kid with more than 4 functioning brain cells would cream himself to get into Stanford. If he can't recruit FL, he ain't for us. We saw how much traction the Holtz name got us in FL. Wanna do that again?

Didn't Holtz basicly only recruit Florida? Your argument makes no sense.

Holtz didn't recruit anywhere. Isn't that painfully obvious? Willie has stirred up more noise here in 1 month than Skippy did in 3 years. My argument is, and find the flawed logic, we have very few advantages to sell to kids right now, other than, we are local and we have a head coach who was a stud here in the bay area. Bring in a National recruiter and he will find out how quickly his cachet disappears on the National stage with USF as his client. Play to our strengths, it was why I was so supportive of the RS hire. We can recruit Miami, especially given their looming sanction dilemma. Nationally, meh.

One flaw with your idea of hiring RS is that he apparently ticked off all the Miami area high school coaches.

You know what? I'm thrilled.

I'm thrilled that we are arguing about new hires on the football coaching staff...

We could be worrying about what Holtz is going to do next season!

I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the rest of this Christmas present Santa brought all of us.

I don't care what happens with the hire; it's all good!

GO BULLS!

Big decision for Lance and his family. Seems like a smart guy who hasn't been given his shot to run the show yet.

I was thinking the same thing... He's got a great gig at Stanford, that's a nice part of Cali, and he recruits for one of the top schools in the world, let alone the US.... I don't think its a situation that no one wants to come here, but I would have to think about it before I moved across the US to take a job that will take me away from my family even more....

hell, I'm torn about taking a job in Virginia Beach due to the relocation..... not an easy choice I'm sure

Private school, so they do not have to disclose.... Probably decent pay....
