The only positive out of that was, even though it would never happen any way, it was good reminder that I thank our lucky stars that we will never play UF at home ... I shudder at even the thought.

I walked alot of the tailgate and sat near the student section so I had a view of much of the non-USF heavy areas. No way no how it was 80/20%. The warchant and red seats (of which many were still visible) did not help the appearance of this however. Obviously the reason so many FSU fans were seen leaving together is they stayed to savor their W whereas USF fans trickled out over the 4th quarter. The stadium got loud when FSU was on offense, so much so noles players were quoted saying as much in interviews following the game. The game MAY have positively impacted recruiting efforts from initial reports and season ticket holders that Ive seen sit through other games were on their feet and yelling most of the game. I agree, we wont see this level of participation again for awhile but it wasnt as bad from this fan's perspective as others seem to have made it out to be.

give it another week and some on here will claim only about 300 Bulls fans were at the game

20% x 69000 = 13800

A lot of USF season ticket holders "sold out" on this game and made a nice profit. I give props to all the season ticket holders that stuck this one out and showed up in force at the tailgate (great tailgates all around the stadium) and showed up with their lungs. Even though we were pretty much out numbered, we in the south endzone gave our all. Great atmosphere nonetheless and the FSU fans were great and probably the nicest visiting fans we've ever had. Let's face it, our two losses before this game killed any buzz in the USF domain and FSU is looking at a potential NC year (with a ton of their Alumni living in this part of the state). It bothered me a little, but I totally understand why the FSU fans paid the big money to be there and our fans sold out. Now if it was a #4 team from out of state that showed up with that many fans, that would be a different story.

how much money could one make? 25 dollars?

Do we want the Bandwagon fans who will flip when another Fla school is playing us or doing better? I say if you flip , than stay with them We dont want you back.

You wouldn't be saying that,if you were responsible for replacing the money they put into the program.. It's not just football, it's most sports, and they are not just from Florida schools. IE: Our Women's Basketball Team benefits from the support (season tickets, Coaches Club donors, and Bulls Club donors) they receive from fans of UCONN (and others) who live in the area, and come to Bulls games wearing green and gold except when UCONN comes to the Dome.

I'll never feel embarassed to be a Bull, but I was surprised at how many season ticket holders sold their tickets. That Ball St. loss zapped some serious enthusiasm, or a lot of our season ticket holders are just fair-weather.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
