A Cinci fan on the ESPN BE board was saying the rumor-mill up there is spinning fast as well with the same talk.

I don't see it happening, but this is the only thing that makes sense why something like that can happen:

This is floating around in the twittersphere today. Basically the thought is ESPN is trying to pressure or urge the Big XII to destroy the BE before they sign with NBC. Basically it's ESPN's last ditch effort to keep NBC out of CFB.

Boston College gave us a glimpse into how ESPN works behind the scenes, so at least from that standpoint, they could possibly be trying to get the B12 to make a move - just not sure how feasible we are to be in the mix.

I was questioning that as well. I would love to see that happen living up here in MI, but I would never expect to get an offer from them
