WHOA! Guy is going crazy with speculation. Wouldn't surprise me it was all true, or false. If Big East teams stand firm and none leave ESPN is f'd and I think the Big East knows it. how is espn f'd? They are dominant. They would simply lose the Big East.... Yes losing market share as a result and osing viewers. NBC will air games at the same time as ESPN, now viewers have another option. Big East fans all now switch to NBC, and so do some basketball fans. Also, the value of all of the conferences could possibly go up, imagine if NBC wants to add more college football next contract cycle. Costs ESPN more to keep them. ESPN has a lot to lose in my opinion.
