This is simplistic thinking though.  You can ruin the core of something and not realize it until too late.  A product can have a loyalty or tradition that you can never get back depending on the damage.

Budlight?

That’s not killing beer… no one is not carrying a phone because their brand died, anyone that was consuming beer in a meaningful manner didn’t stop drinking beer because they decided Budlight wasn’t for them and if the have nots mattered at all they would stop being have nots. Things are simplistic because most things actually are really simple and people need to rationalize away their failure by pretending it’s way more complicated than their ability to be successful at keeping it simple. Most of the time more is just more and getting rid of 100 teams with 10,000 super dedicated fans maths out to being just fine by everyone.

But CFB doesn't work like that.  You don't drink another beer in this case.

Another one influenced by a transgender influencer? Just saw Peyton Manning, Emmit Smith and others are over it.

I suppose if you want to fish for a silver lining, the good news is we aren't spending hundreds of millions to join a league (ACC) that all the media/voters have no respect for.

No, we're staying for free in a league that got passed over in the NY6 bid for CUSA.
