should the same thing should happen in highschool?  Seems if there’s only 30 teams there’s no need for all those players.

You are conflating discussions as does anyone trying to make it seem one day it is going to be bad for the Hunter and not just the prey. Do i think it would be bad for anyone at the top of the hs world if the bottom teams disappeared even more ridiculously ones in other classes in other states? Nope I don’t think they would care or notice. They get nothing from them and I’m not really sure how anyone can convince themselves that their disappearance would somehow hurt the others.

The reality is FSU is not better than Bama, Wash, Mich, or Texas without their QB

Hmmm. That’s actually not the reality because that should be proven on the field, not in the armchair.

Big Ten teams in the playoffs: 2-6. They are annually overrated and - more often than not - can’t compete with the more athletic teams they come up against in the playoffs.

A similar thing happen  in college basketball when Cincy’s Kenyan Martin went down to do late season injury. Cincy seeding took a hit because they lost one of the best players. This is sports & the reality is that FSU is not a top 4 team without their QB.

For continuing to make it clear that who you play continues to be more important than winning more of your lesser games. Who is upset about winning less by moving up? No one.

FSU wouldn't sniff a 4 team playoff if they played in sec. it's one thing to beat up on the likes of boston college, duke and wake forest.

besides they are going to a 12 team playoff next year.

even liberty gets in without a win against a top 25 school and the worst strength of schedule in the country.

Liberty getting in is a Trojan horse to expansion, there is no way anyone can actually expect that to continue

Not reality.  They never played each other.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
