I still remember Chuck

I was lucky enough to play a pick-up basketball game at the old USF rec center with Chucky and... Charlie Bradley back in the day.

I use to run the courts outside the Sundome and there was some serious talent out there, never played with either and that Is fortunate for me.  I miss playing full court but knees are gone and all good things must come to an end.

Hell yeah.

So when we went 0-5 in conference we turned the corner and ran into a brick wall <insert Faber College marching band pic>.

I guess.

Let’s not talk about turning the corner right now please.

Reaching potential, possibly, turning a corner, no. If we had won the ooc games that easily could have gone either way, lost by 6 pts or less, we'd have been 11-2 instead of 7-6. We then went on to lose our first 5 conference games. Corners are turned in conference play.

To show you how sad things are at USF sports, I read this post after not being on the board much, if at all, today.  I didn't even know which sport you were talking about.

We're actually RPI 224

We were in the mid 300's to start the season.

For sure, a lot of high school jocks learned some lessons out there.  I use to play out there once in a while.  Finally gave up after a game where the guy guarding me blocked every shot I took. A humbling experience for one who has so much about which to be humble.

Yes, I remember playing on those courts. Where any of you around when Miller Beer had their One on One Tournament, that was 1981 I believe. It started in the outside courts, it was single elimination and once it dropped to 32, it was held inside. I made it to the 32 round but then my outside shot failed me and my bigger opponent took it inside every time. LOL. We got a Miller One on One T- Shirt as a reward.

I lived in Beta from 84-88 and we used to play hoops on the courts outside the dorm every minute we could. He didn’t play with us, but Gary Alexander used to be there all the time - not doing much because he was rehabbing his torn ACL.
