Yea a .500 coach from the NFL known to be bad with rookies and running a very complex west coast style offense is who some want?

His offense will fail here...he have to run something different to work here.

Pete Carroll was in the NFL for 15+ years then came back to college and kicked ass

How about a coach that fits the context of a Jon Gruden type NFL career rather one that failed and went back after a cup of tea.

My guess is this was a concerted effort by Gruden/his agent and his local media cronies to test the waters to see how the public would react to mentioning his name for a job opening.
