Post-Scott predictions

Alright, CJS is out and we have three games left. Here are my predictions:

1. Let’s get the big one out of the way, we lose the next three games. Shocker! After losing to Temple and seeing SMU put up 77 against UH, I fully expected us to lose 83-0 this upcoming Saturday.

2. Defense will once again look slightly better with Ernie Sims at the helm. It seemed like last time this happened, we played more aggressive and somehow tackles better.

3. We finally get to see the Byrum Brown show. This is going to be the most exciting part of the rest of our season, barring a UCF upset.

4. Unfortunately, we will see at least one of our better skill players transfer out. I am worried that Horn or Battie will transfer out. I do expect Marsh to transfer out, especially if Gerry stays.

5. Jim Leavitt will not be out next HC. This one is definitely not happening, no matter the amount that some people want it to.

It would be amazing if we somehow  won 2 fbs games and did more in 3 games than the previous coach. I hope to see Bowers improve the defense like he did versus ucf last year. Holding a team to anything 28 points or less would be a huge upswing in the next job opportunities for him. I would like to see brown and Smith get a shot at qb.

1. And 2. Da Prato and Sims coached UCF last year and it was one of our better games. I actually think we could hang on Saturday. Prob lose. But it won't be a slaughter.

 

4. Several will transfer out. Several recruits will back out. Bake it into expectations

Oddly I don't feel hope.  There are very few names they could name that I would get excited about until there are results.
