Larry Scott -

Original USF player from the 1997 team

Was part of USF's coaching staff when USF was in it's prime in the mid-2000's

Was an interim head coach at UM

Was part of UF's coaching staff

Currently the head coach of Howard

Has probably 20 years of college football coaching experience

Would STAY with us even after doing good

He's part of the heart and soul of this program, played AND coached under Jim Leavitt

And most importantly... I used to be friends with him in Fontana Hall LOL

My absolute #1 pick - Larry Scott

While eating lunch today my wife brought up which USF grads are coaches now. Only know a couple. That progressed to putting together an All-USF staff (not necessarily with coaching experience).  We came up with the below. Feel free, for fun, to fill in some other names. Mods, if you want to make a new thread, feel free.

Head Coach - Larry Scott - he had some head coaching experience

OC - Blackwell - has some coaching experience

QB coach - BJ - he's already on campus

OL coach - Reiter if not on a roster, Thor Jozwiak otherwise

TE coach - Busbee

RB coach - Marlon - if he isn't on anyone's roster

WR coach - SJ Green - good career in Canada

DC - Augie Sanchez - believe he has some coaching experience

DLine - Selvie

LBs - Kawika Mitchell

CBs - Anthony Henry

Safeties - JR Reed

Danny Verpaele enters his fourth season with the program and his third year as the defensive coordinator

successful DC.

Also Flowers has posted on facebook that he wants to get into coaching. Bob Shoops son was an analyst this year, would think Q is way more qualified...

May have confused him with Augie in my head.
