Well, let’s be real. One undefeated season wouldn’t put us in the CFP. So he would have to do it twice, and blow every non-conf team out, and hope the non-conf opponents mostly win out after

Flowers was 2-1 against UCF. And in that one loss he had 600 yards and 6 TD's. There are arguments for Grothe, but Q's performances against UCF should be a bonus for him not something held against him

If that happened absolutely.  Especially  if he won the Heisman.  Now realistically  I think the chances of all that happening is zero. It would be amazing If it did.

Yes he did but he won  some big games for us like FSU and had to play under Skip after CJL was fired. Statistically he was our 2nd best QB even though I think hold Grothe higher than Flowers. Andre Davis leads our team in pretty much every receiving category and he was  victim of Skip as well.

Maybe in terms of production, but for me just baswd on eye test,  BJ is the third QB after Matt and Q. I don't think we need three QBs in the ring right away anyway.

1)Grothe did it in the Big East against much better competition.

2)Flowers great QB but started the losing streak against UCF

3)BJ beat some big time programs had a terrible coaching in Skip

He was the QB that resisted the downfall for one last season. The downfall was steep after he left. He was the last bastion of the resistance.
