Still hoping Vinik lets us announce it at the Lightning game tonight or on a commercial for it. Game 1 averaged 2.36 million viewers because that New York market. That would be way cooler than tweeting it out to our 136,000 followers

I'm assuming they'll have to have at least some kind of detail to allow for public comment, but they'll control the release of renderings as much as they can for sure

Bummer...

Issue: Stadium Design

Proposed action: None. For Information Only

Looks like no renderings in the near future.  The exec summary seems to say they first need financing in place to hire a design firm who will then develop the renderings.  Me thinky they are months away from that.  Also, no proposed action is not really a move forward.  I could be reading this wrong but I don't think anything earthshattering, or even exciting for us, is happening on the 15th.

I guess the good thing is that I should be able to afford awesome seats in 2032!

A bit disappointing if they don't at least keep the momentum going.  I would think something like a rendering or a model (even if very preliminary) would be just the hype needed to start getting donations.  I remember when the glazers first showed a scale model of the stadium that was to become raymond james---it did not even resemble what was eventually built...but they used it to get season ticket commitments to the new "state-of-the-art" stadium that was being planned.
