That was my initial reaction but he seems to be an amazing recruiter (2nd in Big 12 thats not at OU/UT) and his offenses at Georgia State had an immediate uptick in production when he got there. Also all the comments I've seen by WVU fans on twitter/message boards seem very bummed that he's leaving.

I've seen it mentioned that Jeff Scott is looking to leave the defense entirely up to Shoop/Sims so he can focus on the offense more this year. Feels kind of like he's all hands on deck for this season knowing this program can't afford another abysmal season

I would love to know what his offenses averaged in yards per play.  It’s a metric that gives you a very good idea on how proficient an offense is.

2016 FAU: 5.5 (66th nationally)
2017 Georgia State: 5.3 (74th nationally)
2018 Georgia State: 5.5 (71st nationally)
