So you wonder what kind of a choach is Scott that it took this long.  Probably forced on him by MK and the board.  Maybe my complaint email had some effect.  Who knows!!

Yes he is gone and was ineffective, so is the rest of the staff.  Something had to be done, eventually you run out of people to fire and then you get the dreaded knock at the door.

Here is the rub.  Who is going to come here when you are a head coach with 8:1 odds from getting fired?  Most if not all of the time a new head coach cleans house.

I'm shocked they didn't stretch him out another year but glad they are making changes. As others stated, I'm sure CJS was told to make this move. I would have been fine if he canned Weis Jr. As well. Good luck to Coach Spencer and bummer it didn't work out.
