Yeah I don't think ANY DC would've been able to have a good defense with this incredible lack of talent. It's a shame someone has to lose their job over it, he seemed to be pretty good at FAU. Guess he should've recruited better though at the same time? I wonder if Spencer offered the same kind of recruiting prowess that a younger-hungrier coach would?

Reminds me of when CCS brought in Kerwin Bell and he was out of a job within a year when the whole staff was replaced.  Any potential DC will be thinking of that scenario before he accepts.
