Florida couldn’t fire their 34-19 head coach and we sit on our hands hoping things get better, especially following the debacle Saturday.   Someone had to go for recruits and others to take us semi-seriously.

Maybe he wanted to get fired and get out of this dumpster fire. He will get a job somewhere else and it is highly likely they are better than usf .

I don’t know man. I get we lack depth and talent but his job is to build and develop the players. For two years there is no improvement. Doubt he snags up anything other than a lateral move. That said, there are only give of so worse DC jobs at this point in FBS lol.

That is my point, there is only a few worse jobs.  I mean he is older and made plenty of money coaching to live nicely off. I think he got sick of the lack of talent and kind of just went to work to collect his check.  There really has been zero development on defense in 4 years and the offense has very few players show development outside of Weaver and Joiner over the last 3 years.

If true he just torched his next move. Coaches know each other and hires undergo due diligence.
