Yeah, that other member is a whole 'nother story and you know it.  His account is closed at his request (again).

If you think brybull was suspended simply for "speaking his mind about the program", it's clear you're uninformed or not being truthful.  No one has been suspended ever for speaking their mind about the program unless their minds include profanity, threats and personal attacks on others here.

Hang in there, I too am tired of what @puc86 blabbers on about and I try to influence that in a "positive" way not calling him a name.  Devolving into that is worse for the board than sharing one's mind about the program.

Fair enough Brad. I appreciate your response.

We were up 24-3 at half. But fumbled inside their 5, 89 dropped that 4th down gimme deep in their territory, Logan dropped what would have been an easy pick 6. A few bounces go differently and it could have easily been 38-3 at halftime.

Games against FCS teams normally are closer in the first half, then due to a lack of depth the FBS team pulls away in the 2nd. Oregon blew out Stoney Brook this week, but it was just 17-7 at half. We just don’t have the depth and Jeff Scott called off the dogs way too early.

Famu had 3 points and -7 rush yards in the first half. They had also converted 0 3rd downs. Then we started cycling in backups on defense and they started moving the ball easier.

The starters played fine and the coordinators schemed well that first half. Sure we took our foot off the pedal too early, but no reason to be panicking that we’ll be 1-11.

True...I guess if you pick one you prefer the team starts great and puts the FCS team away at the half not have to beat them in the 2nd half with depth.

Hopefully playing playing more backups in the 2nd  half will help the team in the long run this season.

I’m not claiming to have turned over a new leaf

I didn't say you did, I Quoted Frisco and was just setting him straight.

And hopefully this means 7 days of respite which will be kind of nice:

Which is why I did self reflection and realized I never liked people that complain about wins and don’t like that’s what I have become

At the very minimum that is my intention, as wins deserve to be celebrated, but obviously I’m a bit reactionary and road to hell is paved with good intentions

Can we make this a weekly thread?

Good point.  You have inspired a working idea, just trying to figure out the finer points.

Each week, I can see this being a "must watch" type of thread.  Inspired by "Church Chat"  Puc can put out a positive statement about the latest game and reel in some unsuspecting fan.  After said fan espouses some inane comments about how great the team played (when things were the opposite) Puc can pounce on them and belittle them into unbearable shame.
