I like the hires. Getting a lot of younger and inexperienced coaches a promotion. If someone leaves we promote from within.

Trying not to be a homer, but I'm liking them too.

You just called them lower level. "I don't know of any" is a perfectly acceptable response when that really is the case ....

Hiring alway someone from a school is different than hiring their left overs, it was a CJL joke.

but you don't know those guys other opportunities nor what we are actually going to pay them yet.   why wouldn't they be up for more money based on their performance.  just because they didn't get the same positions at Ole Miss does not mean they are not/ would not be coveted by other programs and for other positions.

If they had better opportunities they would be at them.

Ahhhh ...... my bad. I guess I should assume any response that doesn't really make much sense is a CJL joke.

I mean anything about football coaching especially when it’s about not hiring the former coaches of FAU and hiring the current people where CJL currently coaches, I thought it was about as clever as can get on the 5000th post on the subject.

He likes being close to his ailing mother, the heartless bastards on here wouldn’t understand that somethings make some opportunities more valuable to some people.

So we're clear. xCJL took the FAU job, which is obviously well below what he could have got, because he could be close to his mother. But, all the other guys we've hired definitely didn't have "better" options based solely on the football program itself that offered them?
