I am hearing that a deal was done with CJL and the board of trustees did not approve the deal. Can someone make sure that a question is asked of the university tomorrow to confirm or deny this???

This!!!  The fans left because we got demoted to the AAC which is perceived as minor-league college football.  That is why the casual fan hit the road.  If Leavitt was back with us coaching in the AAC next season, we would still have that crap attendance because we are in the AAC.
