I read back in 2013 that while the team was utterly lacking in talent, an opposing coach described them as difficult to beat simply because they battled their hearts out every single game. Had they been in proper conditioning that year and had good coaching, the 2013 team would have at least gone bowling.

I'm quite sure you're talking about Charlie Strong here, and not the coach who had QF, MM and RA on the roster with tons of swagger while we won 11 games.

We didn't have that many offensive highlights all season this year.  And our FG kicker was 7 for 7 at that time.

There's still football to be played in this season.  No need to hurry, plus USF needs to know how Tagg's contract will be played out, and I'm sure they have their eyes on some candidates who are on teams still in the hunt.
