Did anyone catch this. CWT assistants’ threw him under the bus per Kinnan. That’s kind of ironic.

I did hear JP earlier this week saying Briles complained that CWT would not let them run practice at full speed.

Maybe to add to that last post, maybe Briles was just paying CWT back for throwing him under the bus in game 3.

https://footballscoop.com/news/willie-taggart-kendal-briles-florida-state-virginia-loss/

Taggart responded:

“Well I didn’t call the plays, Kendal [Briles] called the plays. He had the play called and we just didn’t get it done.”

So, yeah.

After Florida State’s first loss, a come-from-ahead setback to Boise State that saw the Seminoles turn a 31-13 lead into a 36-31 defeat, Taggart said the players weren’t hydrated enough, comments that went viral and he later had to clean up.

Now, after their second loss ends at the buzzer, Taggart steps aside and shoves his offensive coordinator into the spotlight.

FSU is a disaster and the whole town of Tallahassee has a cultural problem. Tallahassee PD cover up player crimes. Winston is steaming crab legs, ****, other FSU players involved in vandalism and battery.

So when Taggart showed up there was a culture of skipping classes it seems. No wonder Jimbo jumped ship. I can tell you none of that misbehavior would fly with A&M admins or College Station PD.

It’s interesting that Taggart delegated the play calling at FSU. They were too eager to fire him.

This may have been posted earlier in the thread but Rivals is saying it won't be Willie T.

Take that for whatever it is worth. He may be just trying to sell subs but in the comments he claims "he has well placed source".

It's my #1 scenario and the one that would do the most for USF, IMO ..... just bring in a decent coach-in-waiting with him.

Coach-in-wating... His son?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
