Ok, sure.     to me, that's blowing smoke.

I’m just politely indifferent to the idea I’m not sure why that upsets you

CWT isn't coming here until the the buyout of his alleged unsigned contract have been negotiated and agreed upon. Knowing that these situations can lead to litigation, any discussion around CWT coming to USF, other that what has been rumored by the media, is moot until he and FSU agree to terms of the buyout or resolve this through litigation.

Kelly and CWT would be foolish to come to an agreement without this resolving itself, and I don't see Kelly waiting around for CWT and FSU to come to an agreement when they could be fighting over how much the $18M he should receive and how it would be impacted by future employment.

not sure how credible but it was reported that he did sign the contract. it was FSU who didn't sign it. they owe him the full buyout.

However, Darren Rovell of The Action Network is now reporting that Taggart did sign a contract with Florida State after getting hired in December of 2017. Rovell reports that it was the university that didn’t sign the agreement.

“Source says Willie Taggart actually signed his contract, Florida State didn’t,” Rovell tweeted. “It’s over. He’s getting his money.”

It could still end up in litigation if the FSU balks at paying because they never signed and provided a fully executed contract. I can definitely see FSU being the hold up here.

Hmm I'm laughing about this less now that it may go to the IPF.  We need FSU donor money.

I agree he will, but can they agree to the terms of the buyout in Kelly's timeline if there was no fully executed agreement?

I just wrapped up Contract Law at FSU Law School; there is more than enough to establish a valid contract was in place. They guy who taught the course helps with these things for FSU.

That wasn’t a guy. It was Pam Bondi with a bull cut and shoulder pads

FSU won't try to renege even if they never signed--any lawyer would love to take that case because FSU would lose and lose hard. But if they do, and Willie wants some representation to get a chunk of his 18 million, I'm happy to provide it at a heavily discounted rate. Especially if he wants to donate it to USF.

Hit me up Willie.

KB still recruiting hard. I hope whatever coach we get gives him a chance.
