So when Taggart showed up there was a culture of skipping classes it seems. No wonder Jimbo jumped ship. I can tell you none of that misbehavior would fly with A&M admins or College Station PD. 

Lot of truth in this, but Jimbo jumped ship because FSU wouldn't invest in upgraded facilities and bolster his own contract.  Not because of the culture.  Jimbo was FSU's coach for 8 years.  If there was a culture of skipping classes there, Jimbo ABSOLUTELY fostered it.

Pretty sure that IF he chooses a former coach that it isn't from being lazy.  He knows this is a big deal for him and will pick who he thinks is best suited.

As has been stated, past performance is a good indicator of future success so I'm not sure how that's considered lazy. It's a crap shoot no matter who you hire but it's even more of a crap shoot with never been head coaches. If you've got ex hc's that look like they could be a good fit, makes no sense not to take a really good look at them.

He is the worse Coach to every have a whistle.  The best thing.... Never Hire him anywhere.... Not even little league.  His teams have no discipline or HEART.  Ask any FSU player, fan, alumni, or Broadcaster.

I loathe Deckerhoff, did not enjoy how FSU fan has acted in my section of the stadium, and do not personally know any recent players.  Given that,  there is noone who I would listen to from your "recommendation".  I would prefer to listen to former USF players, or better yet, remember what actually happened here after we had a Skippypoo soft team.
