If he is named coach we may have to also look at going non scholarship, his offense cleared the stands no one is writing checks to watch him continue to embarrass the program with his offensive offense.

You mean the players that were recruited before he got here ? Man you don’t watch the games if you think we have talent to compete for a championship in this conference or a Qb. We don’t have a Qb on the roster like ucf, Memphis, smu, Cincinnati, Tulane. We were good because we had Grothe, we had flowers. It’s all about Qb. Bell has 2 top QBs. Committed that has legit power 5 offers. He can really recruit QBs and speed. We lose him and change the offense we lose the commits and with early signing period we will be a whole year behind. This job is in a bad state because of recruiting and its not going to be fixed next year. Someone has to want to build this up from the ground up. That’s what Bell does as a head coach.

Ya but what does that guy know about his offense? Remember that's the same guy that said this offense with these players was going to score early and often.

I don't get how coaches that get paid insane amounts of money can't comprehend the fact that running an offense that is a complete 180 of what has been taught, recruited for and has been successful in the past will result in failure. he admitted himself that he runs a complicated pro-style offense

LOL McCloud's numbers are similar to Grothe and Daniels in their freshman years.

No one though he would be competing for a championship but we have more talent than the last place and bottom offense in the nation that he was competing for, we had the 14th greatest percentage of returning points in the nation and we had a mediocre 70th ranked offense that he managed to make more than 60% worse. He owns a portion of the blame for that no matter how you would like to deflect it.

think again

But if these are the waning moments of a brief Bell era, the legendary former Gators quarterback is falling on his figurative sword. Which is to say, his faith in his pro-style offense remains sturdy as ever.

So then explain how at Valdosta his pro style offense QBs ran for over 1100 yards and 18  touchdowns? Read options, qb runs, RPOs last year ? Explain it

Because you are watching film of DIIII players against other DIIIII players and maybe just maybe it is easier to recruit decent DIIIII lineman to Valdosta than it is to recruit them to USF when they all go to the Big 10, SEC etc. The spread was invented because schools like USF cannot get the lineman needed to run pro style blocking.

So why did the air raid offense at Valdosta not do as good as Bells offense did last year ? Memphis was able to drop back and throw the ball down field and intermediate? Cincinnati isn’t very Spread ? Smu has time to throw the ball deep ? Tulane isn’t spread. Ucf just has better and faster players and it’s not close. Memphis run offense looks a lot like Bells if you watch the game . Just better qb and better players. We ran the spread last year with better players. So why did we struggle vs Ecu and UConn. But Bell’s offense didn’t with lesser players? We had a lot of key injuries this year at qb, at oline, and at Rb and ford being suspended all year. But that’s all on Kb ?

So with no search firm involvement does McStuffin’s still break the story first?

because he played against div 2 competition and the coach before him ran a similar offense and won 2 national championships. they are like the alabama of div 2.

exactly

Coach before him ran the spread. So that’s wrong. Also Bell beat and scored 47 on that coach in the conference championship last year.

I think with Woolard and his guys so far removed, he may no longer have any moles on the inside. We’ll see.

Yupp because Bells Offense is so Qb friendly. Think about how bad Mccloud played this year and wide open passes he missed.
