Still shot, yes, absolutely... but, the QB stopped running and lowered his own head. How is the defender... knowing that if the tackle isn't made, the game is over, supposed to react fast enough to adjust to what the runner is doing?

We get screwed by the fumble that was a TD. I understand head contact was made, but Macon already was low and the Qb lowered his helmet into Macon. Why is the QB not penalized for targeting of Macon? I do not understand when an offensive players lowers his helmet into a defensive player that it is the defensive players fault.
