Not gonna lie though, this'll stir the pot, but Piggly Wiggly and Krogers are both better than Publix imo.

That's what you get for attacking Mr. Jenkins's store, @Ryan. He's worked hard to create the greatest grocery store in the world.

And then he died and all of his family left the board and now they are just resting on his laurels. Nostalgia keeps the Publix "shopping is a pleasure" myth alive but there is absolutely nothing pleasurable or unique about Publix of current.

I love Publix and hate to burst everyone's bubble, but Wegmans blows Publix away.

Most other grocery stores in town I cringe at their produce, bakery and meat departments.  Also having been a butcher at a publix for a number of years I honestly don't trust many other meat departments out there.  Publix chicken tenders are the best.  I'm sure there are other comparable or even better stores in other states, but as long as I'm in Tampa Publix is my main squeeze.

Ya but not Kroger though. Kroger sucks everywhere. I hope the rest of these Sconnies have the same gaps in aptitude.

Free cookie for the kids and old-fashioned scales are kinda unique. Honestly, I have lived without a Publix up here in lovely Southern Maryland for 16 years, and I still get groceries. But I also find Publix to be a much nicer experience overall whenever I am in Florida. Go Publix... er... Bulls! 🤘

Publix just felt like an overprice piggly wiggly or a discount whole foods, I'm sorry.

I guess you didn’t catch anything? I was gonna say use a white willow leaf spinnerbait. Great on a cloudy day.
