Not sure how this bodes well for us, he was a backup and had talent and now is leaving.  He has every right to bail and it is his life however could care less if he lands on his feet or not, 1 year scholarship lost for nothing.

Was there some more explanation as to why he is actually made this decision or just speculation?

If I've been reading everything coming out correctly, the coaches did not 100% agree. He was 3rd in the QB race.

After BB, then we are looking at MCloud as our starter. Then there will be a QB battle once Jordan Smith gets 2 campus. Add that with Evans and the 2 PWO QBs and Battle really had a slim chance. Players want 2 play and sometimes have 2 accept reality and find a better opportunity 2 play. I wish buddy well.
