Ironside's dad rarely posts here anymore. Wonder what happened to @slick1ru2

I'm assuming him and the War on I-4 trophy moved to Vermont and started a life together

Good point, Corey Lea’s boy was talented however educational challenged, will try to be less controversial in the future

Transfers need a 2.5 unless it is nursing (3.1).

Wow. Thats seems pretty low.

I believe my aquaitance had a daughter trying to enroll as a freshman (general admission, not an athlete). I did not research it, but rather took his word for it.

Is this (2.5 and 3.1) for scholarship athletes or general standard?

Appreciate your knowledge in this matter.

You can both be right. The attrition rate for college underclassmen tends to be high so transfer standards for juniors tends to be much lower than admission standards for freshmen.

Its general students. Keep in mind that the state does not count transfer statistics towards its entrance metrics. There is still competition however, so some the 2.5 is a benchmark. But if you are a transfer you obviously don't need the 4.0 for first time admits.

Glad to see you are good natured about that Cory as I was just trying to press your buttons. I hope Battle makes his way back but I am sure that will not be the case.

If he can't get on the field here, then I hope he finds a place he can.... this only bodes well for us and I hope the young man finds the right spot

I would think it was way too early to determine whether he could get on the field or not...hope it works out for him, somewhere....outside the  P11.
