Actually, no I didn't. We've gone over this before here and footy should have known better. There is no mention of Co-Champions on Page 115. The NCAA makes it pretty clear who the Champion was. You Klowns were just recognized as the highest ranked by a wackadoodle "major selector" with a history of tomfoolery. It was still a very nice accomplishment that you all totally ****** up:

2017
Alabama: College Football Playoff, AP, FW-NFF,
USA Today

+UCF: Colley

^From 1998-2013, the BCS was used to
determine national champions in FBS. All
“major selectors” not otherwise listed also
selected the BCS champion as its higest
ranked team in those seasons. In years where
a “major selector” had a team other than the
BCS champion as highest ranked team in its
final poll that team is listed below the BCS
Champion.

Playoff was used to determine national champions
in FBS. All “major selectors” not otherwise
listed also selected the CFP champion
as its higest ranked team in those seasons.

UCF isn't claiming to be co-CFP champions.

The fact that ESPN and every other school that claims a share of a national championship defines it the same way as us should have given you pause in your confidence.

CPF champion is the only national champion. All ESPN is doing trying start stuff, ya kno for people like you. who can't really read the NCAA record book for what its actually saying.

it baffles me that UCF fans cling onto that.

Having them gracing this board for as long as they have, doesn't baffle me one bit ....

If that ESPN graphic wasn't Photoshopped, I'm sure the announcers were laughing their asses off when talking about it and the stadium signage ....

Yeah, we're the ones in denial. If only we had the objectivity and psychic powers Bulls fans have to see that everything is the opposite of how it seems.

When posts like this come shortly after talking academic smack, that's one of my most favoritest parts of this forum.

Son, they made it very clear how the National Champions are selected.  That's the enough said part.  Anything beyond that is a footnote.  Yes, UCF got an asterisk.  Go have an asterisk parade, go have rings made, put it on a license plate - whatever.  But claiming a part of the Championship is and was a lie and, quite frankly, since you all don't have the sense to be embarrassed about it, I have been embarrassed for you since that stuff was started.

UCF has a penchant for self-deception.  What's annoying is they expect everyone else to go along with them.  The rest of us know better.

I would be all for ucf wearing shirts that said "2017 Colley Matrix National Champions".

But of course they want to act like they won the real national championship...

You guys are too kind. I'm so glad that the three of us, and UCF and ESPN, all agree: the asterisk denotes that UCF are the 2017 Colley Matrix National Champions.

Can y'all believe that there are people on this very site that think that's all fake? I would love it if y'all could share with those people what you just admitted to me, about the asterisk, Colley Matrix, and having one of the National Championship selectors all being real. Thanks a bunch.

Wasn't Colley Matrix the one that named the Irish national champs over Bama after Bama smacked them right in the mouth in the BCS championship game?

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
