I just want to know why I have yet to see a tshirt, banner,car decal,  etc. that says 2017 Colley Matrix National Champions

 

Interesting how the most important 2 words are always left out...

No one who has a share of a championship puts the major selector, they just say national champs. Even if you put "AP National Champions", most people don't know what the AP is. So no one is going to put CFP or Colley Matrix National Champions.

Most people don’t what the AP poll is? The one that comes out weeks before the season and spurs all of the preseason debate and discussion? The one people literally cyberstalk and troll voting journalists over? The same AP poll that’s been around since the 1930’s? Is that the poll you are referring to?

I didn't say most CFB message board fans don't know what the AP poll is.

Nor did I. Anyone who has opened a news paper and browses the sports section over the past century knows what the AP poll is.

I saw that Utah is now celebrating having a share of the 2008 National Championship. Like us, they were picked by a major selector and, like us, they believe they could have become the only National Champs if given the chance.

Notre Dame did not have that same confidence, I think for good reason.  

It's because they have REASON and ACCOUNTABILITY...nothing more...nothing less...

Disagree. I'd be shocked if half the people on this site knew what the Associated Press was and how the poll was conducted.

Not since the playoff era...it was designed to eliminate this nonsense... UCF isn't a co-champion...I think Ok State finished 1st in this Matrix as well...no I'm not catholic...but I have this thing called reason and accountability as well...

When they run the story with the poll, doesn’t  it explain it at the bottom of the poll?
