How come Notre Dame doesn't count 2012 as one of their National Championships?

It would be as real as Teo's girlfriend.

Colley Matrix ranked her as a solid 10.

Colley doesn't name anyone national champs but they did have the Irish top ranked that year.

They actually do. They are what's called a "national champion selector. The CFP was added as a selector in 2014. Learning is fun!

The Kanigits here know it's a ******** claim but right now it's a game they're playing by trying to keep us engaged with them. I'm just gratified that we, as good hosts, can accommodate their obsession.

It might be good to pick a lane, Triple B. Am I being rude when I leave the discussion or is everyone but you a troll despite you consistently playing the instigator?

I don't recall UCF fans starting the National Championship discussion, though. You can check back through the thread if you don't believe me.

I would describe your reading comprehension as "What I would expect from a USF fan." You can feel free to take that as a compliment if you would like.

It's because they have two key things that UCF doesn't:  reason and accountability

I'm excited and want to see how our new UCF friend plays my post in the other thread. There is absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, no way in the world, no possibility, he does what I asked of him despite his constant pleas for us to "just talk football" with him.

The reading comprehension is probably the most entertaining part of the forum.

Each school can make their own choice of what to do with the information. Alabama has long celebrated national championships where they lost at the end of the season.

I saw that Utah is now celebrating having a share of the 2008 National Championship. Like us, they were picked by a major selector and, like us, they believe they could have become the only National Champs if given the chance.

Notre Dame did not have that same confidence, I think for good reason.

Maybe it’s because they don’t think the poll is legit?

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
