I know WDAE is a mixed bag when it comes to USF support but I heard Pat and Aaron (who I think is the best duo on the station) go all in on UCF and how they need to just stop. I personally think they should double down and just keep on making a fool of themselves.

Yeah, the knights posted that on their board.  I went there to point out the real potential danger in angering the very people that you will be courting.  And that they can kiss the SEC teams goodbye for a while.  No one will schedule them from that conference for a long time.  The lack of big name games and the resultant low SoS is going to hurt them and the conference.  Some listened but in the middle of a good conversation, the kids table emptied out and the grownups couldn't talk anymore.

We need to have some sort of decontamination forum for you to go thru before coming back here ....

Honestly, though, and to play a little Devil's advocate, this is just 2 teams in one P5 that have really kind of gone on record with this. Never know how the rest of the P5 could react .....

Outside of the SEC, yeah they will pick up p5 games.  The Illinois, Rutgers, and Boston College level teams will play them.  And probably at a one and one.  Their SoS will remain low and, therefore, the conference reputation will be validated in the eyes of many people.  For a team being told that their SoS was too low with an undefeated season, they don't seem like they believe it.

UCF, from what I see, is the embodiment of the old saying, "Continuing to do something that doesn't work and expecting different results...

I very seldom use the FIFY operation, but will at this time.  Perhaps my first....

I absolve you, my son.  Say three fight songs and light a candle.

That must have been an exhausting exercise...how quickly did it resort to "your trophy case" jokes...

Actually, for a while, it was respectful and a good interchange of ideas.  But after a while, yeah, the whole "mine is bigger than yours" maturity level prevailed.

Mine is always bigger than yours and will prevail.
