Agreed and I would  put Leavitt firing at #2.  Contrast that with UCF which is having their best seasons ever while we dream of glory days 10 years past.

The firing definitely at #2 and the Kanigits' recent success has definitely amplified the angst in a lot of Bulls fans ....

He's held in high regard as a head coach by USF fans because of BUILDING the program, setting the foundation, and bringing USF into the national college football picture. He represents the best times of USF football. Some, however, take it a step further and think his firing was the worst thing that ever happened to USF football. It's not. The worst thing was having the BCS rug pulled out from under us after the fanbase had gotten used to living in that high rent section of college football ......

I'd suggest you give up this quest ... especially after your math skills let you down horribly.

He averaged 8 wins per season. He spent 5 years in a p5 and did nothing! lol He beat a few ranked teams, but no conference titles. I also corrected my "math" on my last post which has a screen shot of his coaching career at USF. A matter of fact if you look at my screen shot he started regressing from averaging 9 wins to averaging 8 wins. But if you want to praise the man who never won a conference title or 10 games in a season then go ahead. Taggart and CCS has both won at least 10 games at USF lol (That was a trolling statement) image.png.d4b4096478585a428caded5b17f495f9.png

I thought it was super embarrassing in the UCF game where we were getting totally run off the field and continuing to run up the middle, punt, and fail in the red zone...

They play a flashback to the WVU game over 10 years ago now.  Like really?  How long can we keep hanging out hat on that thing.  UCF is basically doing everything we set out to do in this conference and they capitalize on their opportunities.

**** right I'm going to praise the man ..... but you misunderstood if you thought I was totally defending his head coaching. Just saying you're banging you head up against a concrete wall with some with this.

Right and we got 8 wins those seasons because the bowl opponent was terrible. Leavitt was 0-2 against BCS opponents in bowl games but logic does not work with Leavitt worshippers.
