Any time I get concerned about the 3 starters not having a clear winner, I recall the debate of Eveld v Floyd, and count my blessings.

He was not brought in to sit the bench. You don't take a guy who was in the running to start at Bama as a RS freshmen and a 5 star recruit and not give him a chance to start and play in G5. This kind of talent or potential is does not sign G5 out of high school... well maybe ED Oliver and very few others.

Obviously...but maybe you're new here & didn't know that we brought it 4 star Woulard at QB, and he never played a down.

I have to ASSUME he eventually starts, but I would not bet anything significant that he trots out first v Elon.

Two different animals... Q was entrenched and UCLA is not Bama. This kid is eligible and will be the starter. Too many tools to not start over the others.

Q?  I see you are new here (no disrespect).  I'm NOT saying BB doesn't start.  I'm saying it's not a given to me.  I've seen the same clips most have seen, and none look like clear winners.  The BB strike to Zion recently was impressive, though.

If I had to guess who wins it eventually, BB certainly has the size and rating.  But...that's why they play the games.  That he got beaten out at Bama (injured, maybe...not familiar) isn't a horrible thing.  Not sure why he couldn't play at a mediocre ASU, but maybe a good reason.

I just want the best QB to play...and hope it gets obvious soon who that winner is.

At ASU, I took it as the coach was on the hot seat and went with who he could trust. I'm not certain, but I do not think he got a fair shot and that is why he left.
