I can’t understand all the back patting. I bet there is not a lot of you that are from Orlando and have to hear about this **** the rest of your life from friends and family.

If UCF and USF were both in a P5 conference, I would root for them all day long to win - conference pride and all.   But with both teams stuck in a crappy conference looking for a golden ticket out, I can't possibly root for them to have any success at any level.  There's no guarantee that any conference expansions would take both of us.  Right now, if there's expansion and one Florida team gets called up, guess what USF will be left out in the cold.

Unfortunately, this is a zero sum game and every man for himself.

Weve pissed away opportunity after opportunity while they capitalize on every one of them. They are light years ahead of us. Wouldn't surprise me if they got a p5 invite and left us here in the group of 5

It all depends on potential dollars, which I think we are even on for the most part. I also like to believe it has something to do with academics (because it's all about the students!)  as well, which given our preeminent status and Judy's obsession with building toward AAU accredition we are better than them. That said, where we are ahead in academics they have pumped more money into their athletics.

Exactly, screw UCF and the love fest in the last couple of pages of this thread.

They’ve had a couple winless seasons...it’s not like they haven’t adversity. Just wait next year they will have 7 to 8 wins

Who cares? Would you rather have two terrible seasons and two ny6 bowl wins or consistent 6-10 win seasons with no conference championship or bowl game better than Birmingham?

It will just feel so great watching them playing in the p5 one day and knowing how much we helped them lap us. It’s just so much fun cheering for them to further distinguish themselves from us and knowing that we are competing for the same chairs in the ever decreasing p5 musical chair game but hey at least everyone will remember this is where most of the teams that moved up came  from and that got us so much Big East respect. I mean at least we can take solisce in the fact we are a package deal and they would never drop us in heart beat like Louisville, WV, Pitt and anyone else that has ever gotten a chance to get out of the minor leagues.

I just want to stop seeing USF complain about the AAC. It is a solid conference and we pretty much proved that we are P6 today. Anyone that thinks they P5 is much better than AAC is brainwashed from the Fake News ESPN media.

If not USF, which school would you prefer? USF craps the bed at every opportunity to get to where UCF is this year. I'm pretty sure that no BULLS fan loves UCF, but I do know for me, the AAC beating a top tier P5 program is a good thing.

Congrats UCF, good game and great season. Now, screw you.

GO BULLS!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
