Ball control will come in handy against UCF.

I've been thinking this exact same thing.  The long drives that have been maddening us throughout the year may just help us win that game - provided we can get the ball in the end zone.

2 season? Perfect ! Just enough time for them to leave us and get a new job.  If his offense takes 2 years to learn he better stay here for at least 4 yrs smh ..What a bunch of baloney

The idea that he chose to implement this complicated of an offense knowing full well that he'd probably be gone by the time it was learned fully is ridiculous.

What if he's installing this offense expecting to get the USF job once Strong gets hired somewhere else?

Time for the team or him to master the offense is my question?

I find it hard to believe it is the team when they don't have a playbook and run the same 5 plays over and over. Wonder have other teams with full playbooks can ever master an offense.....

You realize we are not as fast on the edge without Adams or to the edge out of the backfield without Mack, right? I doubt the GCO puts up the same numbers without those two.

Logic? Wrong place and you should know better... shame

What's fully ridiculous is thinking a coach would go into a new job knowing full well he'd probably be gone in a couple of years ...

Agreed. Much easier for the staff to learn a record setting offense instead of forcing 50+ kid so to learn another offense.

Good point.  Out of curiosity, how many D1 teams have you coached?

It's actually silly isn't it?  On the one hand we should install the offense to fit the players.  On the other hand we should be running the same offense as last year, even though we have different players and two of the guys who left were as good as we've had at their positions.

Stop bringing up legit facts.  This is TBP, not a place for logical conversation.

If we were going to hire an OC as head coach I think it would have been Weist.  So don't see it happening here should CCS leave, which I still don't expect.
