It is just funny that everyone that watched our first two games is now saying that SDSU is terrible because of an off performance that they still won against a better team than SJ or SB.

That's what I was comparing to this season, seems like no one in front of us is losing so we're never going to get an opportunity to move up regardless of who we play. 

But again, you're absolutely correct, we need to find a way to get a better schedule in the future, one way or another

Weren't rankings calculated using a "BCS computer" back then that is no longer used?

I think it started out being even more than half, but they stripped away some of the weight when the computers weren't picking who the voters wanted.

Computers were not biased based on traditional powers. We were overwhelmingly tops in the computer polls.

It was 2/3 computers and 1/3 human for the bcs formula. The computers loved us and the humans hated us. We might have crashed the party in 2007 had we gone undefeated but the screwjob at futgers took us out.

Dont forget San Jose had all off-season to prepare for USF that was best shot and playing not great we still whooped them.

Don't forget USF had all off-season to prepare for SJSU and couldn't do a thing until after we were down 16-0.
