However if the game is on an OCS the students will fill in the visitors side.

Are there really that many schools that have the students on the side and not in or near the end zone?

Tampa is an apathetic city and not passionate about anything.

Not sure how you can say that when the lightning sold out pretty much every game last year for a bad hockey team.

A 20,500 (19K for hockey) seat arena sells out with a population of 3M shows passion?  .0068% of the population?  I love Tampa as it is the city I call "home", however it is what it is.  A passionless city.  Transplants and transients who call other places "home".  The harsh reality is Tampa is great place for a vacation, but it has not gotten behind anything USF labeled.  I'm not sure of the reason(s).  I believe if USF opened the gates and gave away free tickets and parking to any game this season they couldn't get 50K thru the gates. Again, not sure why.  Wish I knew the answer.

Go Bulls!

I agree 100%!! 40k OCS would be filled with at least 15k+ students, they are already there, so it's something to do (that's how Michigan State was during bad years, nothing else for students to do). To sell or give away just 25k would much easier and the stadium would look a lot more full too.

Go ahead and move the students to the 50 yard line on the visitors side. They can harass the visting team. If others come looking for their seats after missing consecutive games they go to the end zone seats.

You said Tampa wasn't passionate about anything. I gave you one example where they are.

We haven't beat a team that is nationally respected since ND. The underdog team that played tough against the big boys is what drew major attention.

Absolutely nobody cares about blowing out schools the average sports fan barely knows or has heard of.

I guess we disagree on passion.  It's a shame (regarding USF).  It's a great university with solid athletics that are competitive.  My passion never dies for USF.

Go Bulls!
