I hear DJ was planning to jog from Tampa to San Jose for the game then depending on the weather take a nice leisurely swim back from San Jose to Tampa.

DJ doesn't need to know the way to San Jose.  San Jose will send a jet, which he will pilot himself and set a transcontinental speed record.
