It was hard not pulling the lever for Grothe.  All the accolades and reasons for him to be #1 on this list are valid but deep down I would rather have QF taking snaps than anyone else.  His numbers are insane but more importantly, he takes such good care of the ball.

Got to be Grothe as of right now...I am hoping Quinton changes that after this season...even if Q has a good year, not even great, I think he passes Grothe just based on the fact of how he started and how he finished

Would have given it to Grothe were it not for his interceptions. So Flowers is the best in my opinion. If I were making a USF all star team from a pool of all current and prior players I'd choose Flowers. However my wife definitely thinks Grothe is the greatest. 

Grothe was pretty amazing. I know I'll never forget him since I was a student when we he was slaying giants.

Good points in here, love it. For me, it was Grothe because he led our team from being a minor team in the BE (anyone else remember the BE teams whining when we got in?) to a contender, and won against top 10 teams, taking us to our highest peak so far. That put USF squarely on the football map. 

NE made a great point about QF leading the team out of the depths of hell, though. He believed in himself and the team when most didn't, and he's put us BACK on the map for sure. Love that kid and I sure hope he stays healthy to get us that elusive championship.

For now it’s Matt but I expect QF to replace him by the end of the season. I feel for BJ though because if we had any of the other coaches from our history at the helm the final 3 years of his career I honestly think he would hold the title.

QF is almost numro uno in my book but he needs to bring us to the top 10 and make us win a championship then he will be numro uno.
